Buoy docs
Keep confirmed renewal dates beside the billing and support evidence behind each account. Prepare follow-up work, have a person approve it, and keep the renewal decision on record.
Start with one account
Get Buoy running, then follow the five steps in the app’s First use checklist:
- Create an account or import your existing account records.
- Review its health and the source evidence.
- Prepare a playbook for an account with an at-risk signal.
- Approve the playbook and complete its task with evidence.
- Prepare a renewal decision for approval.
There is no preloaded business data. Enter your own confirmed terms and observations. The repository’s synthetic import files are for a deliberate trial only.
Owner guides
- Getting started — launch locally, finish setup and sign in.
- Accounts and evidence — record terms, understand health and refresh sources.
- Playbooks — prepare, approve and complete follow-up work.
- Renewal decisions — retain the outcome, reason, evidence and approver.
- Agents — give an assistant a credential for listing and preparation.
- Move in — review an account JSON upload, apply it and understand undo.
- Backup and restore — save domain records and restore an empty installation.
One installation, one team
All team members can read the installation’s accounts. Owners and admins create and refresh accounts, import records, approve proposals and record task completion. Members can read and prepare proposals. The owner alone erases accounts and creates or revokes agent credentials.
Buoy stores human-supplied billing and support snapshots with references to the evidence in your existing systems. It does not fetch those references, send customer messages or move money. Health follows defined evidence rules; it is not a churn prediction.
Buoy is free and open source under the MIT licence. The repository contains the source, command reference and operational details.
